To potty train a 16 month old?

Just recently potty trained my son at 2 & 1/2 very very successfully, day & night within a week.
Since the potty is now around the house, my daughter who is 16 months is now sitting on it to do her business - AIBU to try and potty train her too??

Could always try it- you'll figure out pretty quickly if she really is ready or not but no harm in trying.

If she's ready then let her do it. We didn't use potties but my DD2 virtually toilet trained herself after watching her sister and deciding she wanted to do it.

Why not?
