Are Royal Mail delievering tomorrow?

Ordered next day delievery for a present for a birthday on sunday on Wednesday night which said: Expected delievery date Friday 8th May.
Totally forgot it was Bank holiday when I ordered so obviously it has not come today.

Are Royal Mail working tomorrow? Really hoping it's here before Sunday

Things are taking longer than usual even when it's not a bank holiday. I wouldn't expect until Monday

They don't deliver parcels on Saturdays any more. It's so annoying.

Even magazines count so my weekly mag (Spectator) and my children's (Beano, The Week Jr) won't come til Monday.

I don't really get it.

They are not posting letters on Saturdays but I understand from another thread they are delivering parcels and special deliveries.

Parcels only on a Saturday now I thought, no letters. Still no Sunday service from Royal Mail, as there wasn’t before.

Round here they are delivering parcels on Saturdays.

They aren’t delivering standard 1st class or 2nd class letters or parcels here at the moment on Saturdays.

They are delivering Special / Signed For / tracked stuff tho.

Apparently it’s because of staff shortages but that’s what I read a few weeks ago & it could have all changed

Usually it's Hermes that deliever my parcels as I order off Amazon a lot but i've ordered from a different site which is using the Royal Mail and I can't remember whether Royal mail come on Saturdays or not,
Oh well if it's not delievered i'll survive

I get letters and parcels on a Saturday.

I got my royal mail package today. Argos is best for next day delivery.

I ordered something from Argos at midday today and it’s due to be delivered between 7-11 pm tonight and I live semi rural.

Ours delivered today.
