I know this isn’t an AIBU so apologies but I would like some opinions please.
My mam is in a care home and I haven’t seen her for 8 weeks. Ive just had a video call with her this afternoon which was lovely and she looked well and happy. I was thinking about getting something delivered for all the lovely carers to say thanks for keeping her safe and well. What would be nice to send? Any ideas. Thanks.

A VAT of gin.

Have you thought of calling or emailing to aka them what they would like or make use of OP? Seems to me that would be best, and no less appreciated than a surprise. Or just send thoughtful cards/gift vouchers to those who care for her directly.

I wouldn't send any food that isn't individually wrapped/portioned, of you were going down the edible route.

Depends on the budget: chochalates/flowers/a hamper. A thank-you card is always greatly appreciated x

Tins of biscuits

Luxurious hand cream that they'd consider a treat that they wouldn't spend on themselves.

Thank you. A few ideas x

Have a look what local businesses in your area have moved to deliveries to keep afloat. Round here we’ve got all sorts of things; ice creams, crepes, macaroons, breakfasts, afternoon tea etc, so a good opportunity to support local businesses whilst saying thank you.
