AIBU to start a thread to celebrate squishy baby thighs?

I started another thread because my DS has asymmetrical folds but everyone commented on the deliciousness and it inspired me to start this thread.
I like nothing better than gently squishing these baby legs and luckily DS likes it too. They really are wonderful aren't they especially when gloriously chubby!

My daughter looked like a skinned rabbit when she was first born. Now she has such squishy yumminess I just want to pinch them.

They’re beautiful, I will admit I read your last thread and felt immediate regret that I didn’t appreciate my DS chubster legs as much as I should have and now they’re all long and bony and muddy!!

@anotherwinkywinkybumbum DS was too he was quite scrawny as he was so tiny so I doubly appreciate the chunk now!

They’ve always been referred to as ‘chubby baby thighs’ in our house. DD is 8 now and I still ask her if I can give her chubby baby thighs a squeeze sometimes .

Please can I intrude and add rubber band wrists, lovely little chubby wrists.

They are great but just be aware that people look on these types of threads for nefarious reasons.

I don't want to be a downer but just be careful.

My daughter's arms and legs look like links of sausages Like she's been screwed together. I love it.

I had a couple of very skinny preemies and was delighted when one of them went all chunky around 6 months - now they’re 3 and pretty slim but before they got mobile one got delightfully squishy. The other didn’t but had super impressive guns 😂 Will have to find a pic!

I just noticed the other day that my 21-month-old is starting to lose her squishy little baby chubby leg blobs and they're starting to look more like normal, human legs... nooooo!

I'll have to have another one I suppose

@Tomorrowillbeachicken my DS was like Gollum too! He was 7lb12 but really really long and skinny with massive hands and feet. He never chubbed up and when he stood up at 6 months, he looked liked the worlds smallest toddler. My SIL baby (her 4th) looked like a chubby baby for about 18 months. Was so jealous.

YABU. Baby necks are the best, they smell amazing! And the little dimples they have for elbows...

I better stop before I get broody again.
