To drown out neighbours kids karaoke

Neron · 07/05/2020 15:27

Light hearted

Neighbours have a massive sound system in their garden, and frequently treat us to their choice in music (I.e every time the sun is out).
Today we're being treated to the sound of the kids doing karaoke (horrifically) to frozen 2. I'm thinking of downloading the words and singing (equally as horrifically) back. WIBU?

Do it!!
My neighbours are driving me nuts with the radio on in their garden. Loud enough to disturb me but not loud enough to hear the words - it’s like sand wedding DJ.
I’m looking for houses in the middle of nowhere on Zoopla Grin

Op - just let it go...

No jury in the world would convict you...

I feel I should practice a bit first? I don't know the songs. They could have been more considerate and sang along to frozen instead of 2

No no no.
You need to get your spear and magic helmet and go all out Bugs Bunny Brunhilde. #Opera

There's been a change. Karaoke is off, other neighbour is back with their music. Feeling smug as I know the words to their music...

Meeting mr right, the man of my dreams, the one who shows me true love, or at least it seems...

There is just no need for music in gardens! Drives me potty!

Lordfrontpaw · 07/05/2020 17:06

I feel your pain.

We had neighbours downstairs who played really loud pop music all day and into the night. And I mean 7 days a week.

They were ‘rich renters’ so just a group of people (with their maid) renting a flat and partying their socks off. I snapped and called the council who eventually shut them up. Then the sods got a karaoke machine.

I was ready to rip my ears off. And my nose - they seemed to live off fried fish and offal.

Anyone else just totally sing that instead of reading it?!
"Finally it has happened to me right in front of my face and I just cannot hide it......"
lol
Yeah, you need a 90s garden cheese fest singalong (hope you live near me haha)

AChickenCalledDaal · 07/05/2020 17:10

Whatever you do don't start doing that high pitched a-ah a-ah bit from frozen 2. They'll be existing echoing it back at you until way after bedtime.

Neron · 07/05/2020 19:49

It was light hearted, but at least with the karaoke neighbours you can hear the music clearly (not that we should). The other neighbours however it's just the base or whatnot, and it's only because I know these songs that I know what's on. That is more frustrating as it's just noise

I love that you sang it @LemonadeAndDaisyChains

My neighbours had a karaoke sessions 3 nights in a row.. I lost it and started screaming along back. They shut up pretty quickly

mumwon · 07/05/2020 20:52

play
1812 overture & when they do drums bang saucepans & make sure you do the
dada da dada da dada da da DAAA DAAAA
along with it very loudly (& hopefully offkey)
& why do my back neighbours take turns doing bonfires couldn't they just all do them the same day? (just joining in complaining about neighbours sorry- but if I have taken my washing in once & if they only did it near enough I could use the hose...)

CSIblonde · 07/05/2020 20:57

Feeling your pain. Upstairs flats 13 year old yodels, yes yodels, then falls about laughing around 100 times a day. It's not funny. He's 13, FFS. Why can't he spend his time smothering himself in aftershave & endlessly combing his hair & checking himself out in the hall mirror like his elder brother did at that age!?

Lordfrontpaw · 07/05/2020 21:02

I used to be able to do a reasonable (well it impressed me) queen of the night aria 😈

Neron · 08/05/2020 14:17

No karaoke today, disappointed. I do have other neighbour playing their music as like always and have been since v early. They are a good few houses up.
Thinking I'll have to get off my sunbed to check which number, but in the meantime if I shout STFU with the music already, do you think they'd take it personally Hmm
