To want to do Pilates on my own!

I have been following a Yoga program online since lockdown.
I have done it before so I do know what I'm doing.
My DH has mentioned it to his DS who is an online teacher. I've only met her twice as she lives abroad. They have now decided between them that I should dial in every day for her to give me a discounted lesson.
AIBU that I'm quite happy doing Yoga on my own and in my own time for free!
And confession time here. Sometimes I'm not actually doing it. I'm just in the spare room reading trashy novels on my kindle.
Should I just LTB?

“Oh DH that’s so kind of your sister but I’m happy with the way I do things already. Do let her know how thoughtful I find her offer to charge me money for something I already do “

I much prefer doing yoga on my own with an app than taking a class.

Definitely LTB - think of the space!

Amazing! Tell them you are happy as you are Smile

Leave him, you won't even need to pretend any more, you can just eat on the couch and watch trash TV

Seriously though, yanbu, wtf was he thinking. He got you into it, he can get you out of it

"I'm happy with my routine, thank you anyway. If you would like to take yoga and pay your sister to give your lessons, please feel free to do so. Might be nice for you to spend some more online time with your sister.'

MulticolourMophead · 07/05/2020 11:51

I'd hate the idea of having to dial in with someone every day, you're having to be available when they are, and this can really mess your routine/plans up. Or even tie you down in a way you don't want.

Get your DH to thank her politely and turn it down, since he's the one that agreed the plan with his DS.

emmathedilemma · 07/05/2020 11:53

you know what you're doing but don't seem to know if you're doing yoga or pilates......
just tell her politely or take her up on the offer once a week.

Its Adrienne. So a bit of both . Or torture as I call it. 😂

YANBU (unless your sister in law is Adrienne, in which case I will take your place and dial in for some discounted and personalised torture)

Hidingtonothing · 07/05/2020 12:23

Oh I hate it when people try to organise me or interfere with stuff I'm happy doing as I am Angry Just tell him thanks but no thanks and let him sort it with his DS, if it's awkward for him that's his own doing isn't it Grin

I don’t really understand why people are paying £6 a session for an online workout class when there are hundreds of free ones on YouTube!
