AIBU to ask for steam mop recommendations or your laminate cleaning regime?

Thank you

I just bought a Thane H20 HD. Started using it this week. I like it. It took a month to come, because of current conditions. I usually use a Microfibre mop and bucket, which does a good job but this was REALLY good! I didn’t think my floor was too bad, but this cleaned it deeply. I have also used it on windows, again it was good, but as it was a sunny day, and south facing, it left a couple of streaks.

I steamed the connectors on the loo, grim, but excellent, and have used on ceramic tiles on bathroom floors. I haven’t used on shower screen yet.

For me, so far, so good, but I’m only a week in. I like that you can use it as full mop, or a hand held. I haven’t used on bathroom wall tiles either yet. It was just shy of £90, so not cheap. I hope it is a good investment!

Yes, but I think it’s more expensive, plus I got 3 free pads too from Thane direct. Good luck whichever you choose.

I have the shark one, been really pleased with it, it can get into smaller, narrower spaces than a triangle headed steam mop.

That's interesting @Losingthewill8 can I ask where you got it from?

I have just bought a Shark one. It is great.

I love my Vax steam mop. You can also detach the main body and use on windows etc. The head rotates so can get everywhere it needs to! Before lock down I bought some of the pads in poundstrecher. They do the same job, you don't need special ones as they have a string to pull so you can get a tight fit around the mop head.Smile

understandme I got it from thanedirect, just type Thane in and it comes up

Shark S6003 one is brilliant. I’ve had mine a year and can’t find fault with it. Previously I had one from Lakeland that wasn’t all that good.

I've had three, all different makes and they were awful, a total waste of money.
