Boss advertising job.

I have been in my current position for just over 2 years and I’ve recently discovered that my boss advertised my job in July last year without me knowing. I’m really worried that now he is going to use this situation to get me out or go ahead and advertise it again.

AIBU to be upset and worried?

What a git! At least you’ve been there for 2 years which gives you protection, great. Any reason why he’d try to get rid of you?

Might be an additional post, not a replacement

I’m a lone worker and see him maybe 3/4 times a year so I have no idea why he would want me out. I keep my head down and get on with my work.

Due to the nature of the business there isn’t enough work for me let alone anyone else so it was definitely my job being advertised.
