To think that Norman Price gets a bad rap, but that James kid is a little shit?

Now ADMITTEDLY Norman seems responsible for about 75% of Pontypandy's fire service call outs, but I think (bless him) he just struggles because he's a bright and precocious little kid (gets fascinated by things and goes full hog into them without thinking them through, and clearly misses his dad not being around (adores time with Trevor and Sam).

Whereas that James?! perfect nuclear family, all the advantages and he behaves like a little brat half the time, always being mean to his sister and acting out.

I call scrapegoating of Norman!

(Actually I think the writers must have a great time working out what Norman can burn/destroy/get stuck under every time. I'd love to write for children's television!)

I don't know about Norman Price, but Horrid Henry is the one who gets a bad rap in my book, when Perfect Peter is actually a little shite! Horrid Henry gets treated badly, then they wonder why he acts out, while Perfect Peter is a simpering brat that gets away with everything, plus he is a tattle tale which just irritates the fuck outta me!
