Woman arrested for refusing to leave park

Just saw this video of a woman in park with her kids, having a play date with other parents and their kids. Apparently the kids’ playground area was closed so police asked them to leave due to social distancing rules and the women refused, saying they won’t as they pay their taxes

One woman then asks to be arrested and then gets angry when police oblige 😂

What a twat.

Knobs. Did they think social distancing rules don’t apply to them because they’ve got kids? I saw one of those placards said “legalize motherhood” 😂😂😂

This was a set up anti lockdown protest in Idaho USA. I bet I can guess which way they'll be voting in November. Serves them right. I hope she gets more than just arrested.

Well, if you say ‘go on, arrest me!’ what are the police supposed to do? Then complaining about being singled out? It sure is a different country.

I despair I really do. The bristsich think they are being laughed at but those over the pond are much more ridiculous in their denial.
I feel sorry for those in the US trying to abide alongside people who refuse.

I have no idea what the local laws are on lockdown and suspect you don't either. Lots of US states have advisory rather than legal measures in places afaik.

I did wonder of it was to protect a headset mic from wind noise but she was holding a big mic so don’t think it was that.

minettechatouette the park was closed and sealed (only by tape but that is enough) it doesn't matter about special virus rules. She was breaking the law being there.
