Just sat here wondering what people think is going to happen with the current situation. Are we going to get another two peaks as suggested? Do you think we're going to have to distance ourselves for another year or two even when lockdown ends? Do you think the cases will just continue to drop dramatically and then it will be another case of sars 1(although on a much bigger scale) and will be able to be contained so that one day there are no more new cases?

Which question are we voting on?

unchienandalusia · 05/05/2020 12:23

No one knows. What people on here, unless experts, think, is utterly meaningless handwringing twaddle.

pumpkinbump · 05/05/2020 12:23

Sorry, didn't mean to put as a vote. Just wondering what people's thoughts are on what is going to happen

Well you're not sorry, are you? Confused

There are literally dozens of threads with those questions already in existence in the actual Coronavirus topic.

Personally I think we will all turn into lizard people.

pumpkinbump · 05/05/2020 12:27

I didn't realise there was a coronavirus topic. Heading there now.

Nobody knows. Exactly how is people speculating going to help you?

pumpkinbump · 05/05/2020 13:05

It isn't. It's just general curiosity. I have a feeling that it's miraculously going to come to an end somehow. I realise that makes me sound batshit. Maybe it's just wishful thinking as I've been stuck in the house with a toddler alone for 2 months.

I certainly hope it’s going to miraculously come to an end - sooner rather than later but can’t see it sadly.
