Please? I would love to know how things going to pan out in the end..have had paid readings in the past, there were some accuracies with one, but the others were very forgettable :)

I'm pretty sure most of them are doing online readings. You're asking in the wrong place here.

BlackForestCake · 04/05/2020 23:17

I predict that if you have a “psychic reading” done, you will have less money afterwards than you did before.

glitterbiscuits · 04/05/2020 23:23

It's a con. There is no one who can do this. Just charlatans.
@mumsnethq can't you ban this as a topic?

WeakAndWeary · 04/05/2020 23:25

OP what makes you think anyone here can give you a ‘psychic’ reading?

Lockheart · 04/05/2020 23:30

Sure, PM me twenty quid and I'll make up some bollocks for you.

Louisesp82 · 04/05/2020 23:32

I was thinking that somebody may have this skill (I don't think all are Charlatans, but keep an open mind), and if so may like to..it was only a polite request though, so absolutely fine if not :)

I get the sense you are a couple of years off a significant birthday and you are starting to dwell on this more. There's a man isn't there? A distant man who will declare undying love one day and shut you out the next. He's not the right man for you, I just know. Let him go. Unfortunately, I can see stifled times ahead, I can feel the next couple of months to be somewhat dull and boring. Restricted even. You just have to ride it out though and you'll be glad you did as I have a clear vision of late summer. You'll be feeling free. Far more liberated than you've felt in a long time.

WorraLiberty · 05/05/2020 00:04

Buy a book on Cold Reading (I can recommend Ian Rowland)

It'll be the best money you've ever spent and you'll no longer fall for any more of the manipulative nonsense.

caribooshriek · 05/05/2020 00:04

Not all are charlatans but most are.

Louisesp82 · 05/05/2020 13:53

I will bit that book, thanks! Thanks for the reading too!x

You'll win a million pounds and inherit a French chateau.

Lockheart · 05/05/2020 14:01

I'm assuming the reading from Jackdaw is sarcasm. Boring and dull times ahead for the next couple of months? Yes, for you and everyone else on the planet.

Louisesp82 · 05/05/2020 17:29

lol, I was pretty sure it was sarcasm, but didn't want to retort just in case! I am a nurse, and have started a new secondment, so maybe not so dull 😂

And your user name gives away that you're a couple of years away from a significant birthday! Plus advanced search possibly?! I want to believe in it but don't think it's possible for anyone to really do

Louisesp82 · 05/05/2020 17:40

I was thinking that too..it is a bit too easy from here 😂 I really would like to believe that certain people do possess the gift..thought would be like a needle in a haystack if it were true! I had a phone reading once...I was told I was starting a new job and the salary (which were right!)..however, was also told it was the best decision to take it..it definitely wasn't!

"Not all are charlatans but most are."

True, some of them are just deluded and actually believe the bollocks, rather than knowing it's bollocks but doing it anyway.

thedancingbear · 05/05/2020 17:44

My tea leaves are telling me that you are about to become £50 poorer for no appreciable benefit.

I've got some snake oil here, if you're interested OP. Only £250 a litre.

YesIDoLoveCrisps · 05/05/2020 17:49

I see white shoes.
I don’t know what this means?
