...are complete muppets?

Apparently it’s all a conspiracy theory to lock us down and take away our rights. Hmm
What other conspiracy theories have you heard?
I need a laugh before I cry.

Also ridiculous:

When they test you they are shoving microchips up your nose so you can be tracked.

It was released on purpose to save the cost of pension payments.

It was released on purpose to save the cost of pension payments.

This ones almost believable!! I Bet there is a Whitehall bean counter who has done the maths already. Hmm

You can just see Sunak at the next budget "I can report the amount spent on state pensions has reduced", no shit Sherlock.

DailyMailHater · 05/05/2020 06:30

It’s too lock us down so the can put up the 5h masts and the track and trace app is just a way of monitoring is - but that comes from. a friend who 100% whole heartily believes the world is flat and spends hours trying to convince others the same!

Rebelwithallthecause · 05/05/2020 06:31

I seem to have the same friend Confused

It s to terrify us all so that we cant wait to get the vaccine....which is a way for the government to basically microchip us and track our movements. Oh and even crazier the chip can be activated to kill us if we step out of line because the government will monitor our conversations through it.
And the 5g is killing everyone, covid is made up (tell that to people who have lost loved ones).Confused

Peggysgettingcrazy · 05/05/2020 07:22

This sounds really harsh. But I'd someone created a virus to kill old people, to save on pension payments, it would be much more effective in its results.

The vast majority survive. Even in pensioners. If someone put all this time and energy into doing this, then the desired results are pretty poor.

I follow the uk government on Facebook, they release updates, reminders to stay home and bits. The comments section is gold if you read through, a complete rabbit hole. Unfortunately it means some odd videos are now popping up on my play list of tin foil hat people but I can live with that 😉

tillyteatowel · 05/05/2020 07:42

I think they’re scared and desperate to find something that feels like it’s controllable. That’s part of what makes them so bloody dangerous...

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/05/2020 07:47

So they've ruled out the changing of the batteries in birds?

Personally I think it's a massive reality show. The Elite are sitting in their homes deciding what to do next to throw people... They've made us hoard toilet paper, do star jumps in front of our TVs, decorate our windows with rainbows, clap on our doorsteps... What next?

IDontLikeZombies · 05/05/2020 07:50

My favourite is that aliens have made contact/are planning a landing. We've been put under lockdown to prevent mass panic on the streets, the plan is to introduce the idea gradually so we'll be more accepting. It's back fired a bit as they announced UFOs are real last week and every one was so busy losing their minds over CC19 it kind of passed by, unnoticed. We'll have to stay in for an other couple of weeks until we can have it broken to us gently. When Boris announces a lockdown extension at the end of the week that will be proof positive that aliens have made contact Grin

My mum thinks it's a conspiracy to keep her, personally, at home. Because all her neighbours are still 'popping out' and my sibling and I keep telling her to stay home she is convinced it's all about her.

"But I just fancy a look round the garden centre/craft shop/trip to the tip" - they're closed to everyone mum, not just you Angry

Echobelly · 05/05/2020 07:57

Yeah, because governments like the Tories just love hatching plans that have a side effect of totally wrecking the economy!
