When my DD goes to visit my ex she is on her phone too much?

Hi,

When my DD goes to stay with my ex she comes back shattered and her phone usage is more than a third of the total time she spends there. As a guide in the last 4 days she has spent just shy of 40 hours on her phone.

My ex and I don't get on but I want to say something but it will cause an argument and I'm not sure it's worth the grief. I have already restricted usage on her phone to just daytime as previously she had been on it all night. Should I reduce it further??

What are your thoughts / idea on how I should handle this?

Ouch - ten hours a day a lot - and presumably you have to pay the bill for this?

She has a contract so it's all included and she uses WiFi got the majority of it

Maybe just have a quiet word with her first and try and hammer home how important sleep is to her health, and find out if she’s nervous about sleeping there.

No need for a ten year old to have a phone in the first place. I’d send her without it. That’s a ridiculous amount of time for anyone to spend on their phone, let alone a small child
