This is the situation
- We've been a customer for over 10 years having weekly deliveries.
- My parents are on the vulnerable category and are shielding.
- I have been unable to get a delivery slot for two weeks to my house so I can take them their shopping. They are in their 90s and won't open the door to anybody else.
- I contacted Ocado to find out why I can't get a delivery slot any more (I have a household member in the vulnerable shielding slot too)
Ocado replied to say my parents had to register for their own account and have shopping delivered to their address (but they won't open the door) and that I couldn't have it delivered to my address even though I had a vulnerable person in my house.
So I registered for an account for them at their house and would have to go there to open the door unless I can make them do it. Then Ocado said that they couldn't register for deliveries because they were prioritising existing customers who are vulnerable.
