She's 9 and son is 18 months old. They haven't seen each other for a long time now and this few weeks probably feels even longer for a 9 year old! I want to put a parcel together to send to her. Nothing fancy just a few bits and pieces to keep her ticking over. Will do a painting from my son etc. Any ideas what I can put in it?

What about a recipe card plus ingredients to bake a cake or some bread? Or even a cake mix. Some colouring sheets, sweets/chocolates, a small craft activity, a smooth flat stone she could paint, a book, new pencils, a scavenger hunt sheet, hair clips, a little challenge sheet - that you could do too then show photos. (Like an outfit out of newspaper) etc...
