This sounds really pathetic and needy but I swear it's not.
My DH was sat with DD (3) earlier and said to her "Your face is so pretty". To which I initially thought "Ah that's nice" but then I sat there and thought "Wow. He's never said anything like that to me".
He's never told me that I'm pretty, special, or anything like that. I didn't even get a proposal out of him lol as I proposed to him! So I can't even reassure myself with "Well OK he picked me".
What I'm trying to say is, I don't think there's ever been a day where I've felt "special".
