Lockdown book plots

What book/filmplots do we think will come out of lockdown? Mine are

Romance: girl meets boy in this “hilarious” rom-com. Set in a socially distanced supermarket queue - this mask wearing pair of course cannot see how gorgeous the other is and fall out over the last remaining loo roll... but could they ever fall in love?

Crime: The gangs are getting restless - their drug supply is wiped out, so they instead turn to making underground hand sanitizer- but their arch rivals have got wind of their plan and a bloodbath is on the cards.

Dystopian... well no need really!

Aibu to share your ideas as mine are rubbish Smile

I expect a few will come out over the next few years. I suspect there might be an indie type film that shows someone keeping a vlog during lockdown, with them having to shield for some reason, and them gradually losing their mind and grip on reality. Not sure how it might end. Hopefully a happy ending with a friend finally knocking on their door as we’ve been given the all clear to go to other houses from now on.

@kits sounds like something I’d enjoy 😊

I think we'll see more natural disaster movies like The Day After Tomorrow, Deep Impact Etc

If a scientist tries to warns the president that something bad is going to happen but he isn't believed then extra points for that.

I'm a child of the 70s/80s so nuclear fallout, alien invasion movies feature in my childhood viewing . Zombie movies peaked like 5 years ago so maybe a lab experiment where a werewolf escapes sort of thing?
