Stupid question - but are any countries known as "he"?

The UK and US are referred to as "She" we've got Mother Nature and the sea is female. Is here anything male?

El Salvador ( the el signifies its male as it would be la otherwise). Can’t think of any others off hand but I think it may be different in other languages that there is more of a mix of he and she but yes a lot more feminine countries
