Lockdown 'touts'

It's DD1 birthday in a few weeks and before lockdown we had planned to get her a trampoline as I think she was a tigger in a previous life. As soon as lockdown hit they were sold out everywhere. I was really fortunate to get one of the few Smyths recently had delivered and now they're sold out again until Mid May.

This week I've seen loads of people post on ebay these same trampolines, unused, with the prices jacked up to 2-3 times the Smyths price. Everytime I see a new post the thought 'fucking pricks' pops into my head. I don't believe for a second they purchase one with intent on using it. They're just looking for an opportunity to take advantage of people's desperation in the current climate.

Anyone else get royally cheesed off by these lockdown touts or AIBU and should let it go and be grateful I got one at a reasonable price?

Yep asshole move but this behaviour is not new to lockdown.
A few years ago my DSS wanted the paw patroler for Christmas. It was sold out everywhere in November. Luckily managed to get one in our local toy shop mid November for him. By the start of December they were going for hundreds of pounds on Ebay and Amazon.
Assholes will always try and take advantage.

It’s the same with hot tubs! Can’t get one anywhere unless I want to pay nearly double the price! Envy

They used to imprison racketeers...

Still, there's some justice in the world:
