Just as the title says really as I’ve never done it before. Do you have to check it before you leave or can you wait until you get home? Just seems like a bit of a faff with a 2 year old waiting in the car.

Check what? Your order? You drive up give them your name they give you your receipt which will have any items or subsistions on it.

You used to them have the crates dumped beside your car for you to unpack into car but I think they are asking you to wait in car now and they load it. Either way you don't get time to check it.

At our tesco they have it in 'bag for life' bags. They stack the crates, then stand back. You check the list for subs and then you load your car. I rejected one sub so had to root through to find it but only took a minute.
