That my 30th birthday will be in the middle of a global pandemic. It really is just my luck haha - light hearted of course. I'm fully aware there is much worse going on!!
So how can I mark this wonderful day?

Oh dear. This is just like real life, no one cares! Haha well that's embarrassing...

My husband was 46 the other day. He read in the garden, got drunk on rum, listened to music, had steak delivered from a local butcher and cooked by moi, played cards, then we zoomed with our friends as if we were all down the pub. It was fine, he said it was a great birthday.
Mine isn't until September but can't say I'm fussed. For my actual 30th I had a party with a friend and hated every moment of it, hate being the centre of attention. Never again!

It's one of my friends 30th next week, she had a party organised and had to cancel that. So we're having a WhatsApp video call party, it's going to be a cacophony and so disordered.

4 of my DC have their birthdays in April and May. One will be 21, one 19, one 13 and one 10. We’ve told them all they’ll have their birthday party/day out later on in the year.
Not much else you can do really!
Mine is the end of June so who knows what we’ll all be doing then!

My birthday was last week. I also moved house the day of lockdown, just begun a new relationship and I'm now starting a new job next week!

Everyone keeps telling me they expect me to get Covid based on my luck!

Hope you have a lovely birthday! I had mine a couple of weeks ago (not a big one) and had bucks fizz and pancakes for breakfast and had a nice dinner. I zoomed with friends which was the highlight. You just have to make the best of it, and do/buy the things you like.
