I’m due and now overdue my cervical screening check. My nan died of cervical cancer and my mum and sister both had to have cells removed. I’m really concerned that I can’t get screened because of the current crisis. I’ve tried looking into going private too and they’re not offering it either. If there are no screening programmes running, not just for cervical screening, isn’t there going to be a huge problem with the number of cases when screening is finally allowed to go ahead? I understand that this is an impossible time but I’m really worried.
