Today is International Workers Memorial Day to remember those who have died at work. There will be a one minute’s silence here in the UK at 11am to remember all workers who have died from coronavirus. The article below tells the story of NHS workers who have died and is worth reading. Sadly, deaths of other workers are less reported: the worst death rate has been among London bus drivers.

Thanks, I will.

And please join a union, only collective action can alter workplace conditions in many situations and you'll get free legal help if you ever need it at work.

If you're not sure which union is right for you then ask coworkers or post your employment situation on here and people will help you find one. I'm a United community member even though I'm not currently working. ✊
