We live in the US.
In our community, my friends are quite concerned about offending anyone at any time. Before this mess, everyone was self-censoring to an almost absurd amount.
No real conversations with anyone. Unless camping or parties w/alcohol.
Worry: Covid19 will change everyone's ideas of what "offensive" is. Amp it up. Make it even more difficult to keep up with social mores.
Forget about discussing politics, religion, or the Great Pumpkin.
I'm talking standing too close. High-fives. Hugging. Too many kids on a play date. Sleepovers. A graduation party with more than 10 people. A large wedding.
Anyone else? AIBU? Or just thinking too much?
