Advice on funeral insurance please

Hi all

I'm coming up to my 50th birthday and realise that I should buy some funeral insurance. Hopefully it won't be needed any time soon but you never know...

I wondered if anyone can recommend any reputable companies? I really don't know where to start.

I know this is a bit morbid for a Saturday evening but I'd really appreciate your advice and suggestions.

Go for a company that can actually carry out the funeral as well - like Co-op or Dignity. Then you're not just paying an expensive middle man.

And please, please, please make sure you tell someone in your family that you have the plan. You wouldn't believe how many funeral plans only come to light when the funeral is done and dusted.

@rallytog1 Thank you for the advice. I had looked at Co-op, and that is probably who I'll go with as they are a reputable company. I will be sure to tell both Sons about the plan. Again, thank you for the advice, I'm trying to get all of my ducks in a row while I have a bit of spare time.
