WIBU to start a radio war with my neighbour?

Kind of light hearted. I feel at the end of my tether though.

My neighbour is always blasting some kind of radio in the garden, I think they might be Portuguese? He lives 2 doors down but it's so bloody LOUD. I cannot enjoy my garden. I feel like I'm sitting in bloody Nando's Angry it's on his phone as well so it sounds incredibly tinny.

The only "respite" I get is if he gets a call, in which case he ends up shouting into a video call and walking around his garden.

WIBU to buy a portable speaker and plonk myself in the garden with very loud music of my own?

Do it and then tell us how it goes 😁

Don’t get me started on ‘outdoor music wankers’ there are a disproportionate amount about.

I wouldn’t get into a war. I would do what I did and knock on the door and explain that due to his cretinous levels of intellect he clearly doesn’t appreciate that headphones have been invented. And suggest he uses them immediately.

Music noise wankers are absolutely infuriating.

I suggest Vivaldi's Four Seasons on repeat...

Could you just ask him to turn it down?

Nottherealslimshady

Could you just ask him to turn it down?

I'm a nervous person and I find him intimidating. I think at this stage I'd rather move than confront him? I definitely spent most of yesterday evening looking at detached homes for sale in the country Blush

Could you throw water bombs full of Nando’s Piri piri sauce at his phone? Might clog up the speaker? I feel your pain. No one really cares about a little low level music for the odd hour a day, but blasting it constantly is awful...Especially when it’s shit.

Asking him nicely to turn it down a bit isn't really a confrontation, is it?

Get a speaker if you want but don't expect him to "get" what you're doing.
