How can a vaccine be produced when we don’t know if we develop immunity?

What the stupid media is calling “reinfection” is really a relapse. The person is not catching it a second time. They just appear to recover and be immune on the surface, but really have not fully beat the virus. So they get sicker again before they get fully better and immune from it.

Oh, we do know that we develop immunity. The latest controversy is that a person who appears well and has antibodies may not be immune because they could be in the pre-relapse stage when the test is taken. So it is more that the immunity test doesn’t prove full immunity, not that we cannot get immune.

On a side note, it is a coronavirus and they’re known to mutate fairly quickly and so any immunity is only until the virus mutates.

Thank you, that’s clearer!
