What is your favourite kind of weather?

I’m incredibly fair skinned and can’t sit out in my garden at the moment without burning to a crisp even with factor 50 on. It’s 20 degrees here but feels more like 30.
My ideal weather is when it’s about 12 degrees but dry and sunny so I can sit outside with a jumper on. My DP prefers it to be scorching hot and he loves visiting his mum in Thailand where it gets up to 40 degrees during their hottest months. He gets miserable in the winter here.
How do you like it best?

A really heavy snowstorm, preferably windy too. Icy cold, "tomato soup in a mug when you get home" weather.

ErrolTheDragon · 24/04/2020 16:38

I'm happy with this weather, but would like it to rain during the night as the garden is starting to look a bit dry.

I like cold and crisp too, in its season.

CoronaIsComing · 24/04/2020 16:40

Today is just perfect 🥰 sunshine, blue skies and shorts!

maddy68 · 24/04/2020 16:50

Hot , dry and sunny

sqirrelfriends · 24/04/2020 16:50

Warm enough to lie in the sun and not get too hot but cold enough that I don't get too hot. So about 18c and clear with a very light breeze.

beebeedandelion · 24/04/2020 16:52

Sunny enough to sit out but not enough to burn, just enough to turn my short podgy milk bottle legs long slender slightly tanned legs a lovely brown colour.

Kerryismystyleicon · 24/04/2020 17:41

Ice cold, clear blue sky, heaven.

Can't stand the heat, already too warm for me!

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons · 24/04/2020 17:46

I’m like you I burn/come up in a rash/am allergic to sunscreen Hmm give me a bright frosty February day!

Waxonwaxoff0 · 24/04/2020 17:49

Today is perfect for me! I do burn easily but I like being out in the shade without having to wear a jacket or cardigan.

Anything above 20 degrees is too hot for me, but I can't stand cold weather either or rain.

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 24/04/2020 17:53

Crisp and sunny autumn or winter day is my favourite. I lived in Poland for a year and nearly every day was like that.

Second favourite is 'warm enough not to need a coat but not so hot I need to get my arms, legs or feet out'. Can be found in late spring or early autumn.

CottonSock · 24/04/2020 17:55

Perfect today. Hi a bit inside/ shade for hottest bit, but warm for dinner out.

SimonJT · 24/04/2020 17:56

Warm and sunny.

I’m Asian, so no sun burn. I also like just wearing shorts, so any day I can just wear shorts is always a bonus.

fussychica · 24/04/2020 18:00

Anything up to about 28 degrees with a light breeze is perfect. Don't do humid.
Lived in Spain for nearly a decade. 42 degrees for most of August was unpleasant imo, especially for anyone working or living without aircon but I'd always rather be hot than cold.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 24/04/2020 18:05

This kind! Warm and sunny! Or hot and sunny - I'm happy with anything up to about 40 degrees to be honest.

I loathe the cold, and the wet. Both together is hell on earth.

dementedma · 24/04/2020 18:08

Today has been perfect. Warm enough for shorts and t shirt, light breeze. Just gorgeous

Pickles89 · 24/04/2020 18:11

It depends what I'm doing! If I was at a waterpark, 28 degrees, at the beach, maybe 25ish, just hanging around at home/walking the dog, probably about 22, BUT NO HUMIDITY!! It has to be lovely dry heat, humidity kills me. Preferably no wind at all, or the tiniest breeze. Bright blue sky too, none of that haze nonsense.

Rebelwithallthecause · 24/04/2020 18:12

Snow that’s dry and fluffy and settles

Shayisgreat · 24/04/2020 18:18

I like when it's about 15/16 degrees and cloudy with no wind and no rain. I hate the sun as it gives me such a headache from squinting even when I wear a hat and sunglasses and I burn easily. I get really grumpy in the sun.

ShinyMe · 24/04/2020 18:21

I love those first days in spring when for the first time in ages there's some blue sky and sunshine that feels a little bit warm, and there's a gentle breeze that smells clean and leafy, but there's no pollen and you don't get hot and sweaty, and all of a sudden you remember that the world isn't all dead and grey.

MadisonAvenue · 24/04/2020 18:22

I love a sunny crisp Autumn or Winter day.

Anything over 20c and I’m miserable, I’m pale skinned and blonde and also burn easily even when using Factor 50.

AnyFucker · 24/04/2020 18:25

Like today and pretty much all of April so far

Hot sun. Cool in the shade. Easy to sleep at night.

It's a pity I have been working for most of it Angry

Wannabegreenfingers · 24/04/2020 18:26

Hot and sunny for me. Can't stand cold or wet ☀️

fruitypancake · 24/04/2020 18:27

35 degrees and sunny please 👙☀️

My perfect weather is 20+ with perfect blue skies, so basically what we're having at the minute... except I don't have a garden to enjoy it and DS is sick of walks with no particular destination like the park, so not being able to enjoy it right now Sad
