I don't like his voice at all. The crooner sessions keep popping up on my Facebook. God my ears hurt.

I had to watch as I was sent it in an 'oh my fucking god, you will not believe this', kind of way.

Well he must be good at something, he's been in virtually every episode of Coronation Street.

He sang me a song once while I sat next to him. He sounded great.

I think he can sing but he's not a great singer. Other pop singers like Robbie and Olly are weaker but get by because of their personalities. One person who think really can sing live is Will Young. His live radio sessions are always superb plus he has great tone and range to his voice.

I love Will Young's voice. A pop star who really can sing.

After reading this thread I've just watched GB with Gilbert O'Sullivan and GB is just awful imo compared to Gilbert O'Sullivan.

Not a fan of his voice but I love watching him (try to) dance on the old Take That videos. He looks so out of his comfort zone & depth. Very entertaining.

I have happy memories associated to GB... I lost my ds1 when he was born prematurely in December 1994.
In July 1996 I was in hospital due to give birth to ds2.
I had pre eclampsia and I had to have long periods of bedrest. Forever Love came out and was always on the radio.... I couldn't bear the No 1 by the Fujees. The day after I safely gave birth I was in my room with ds2 in his crib.. FL came on the radio and I lay on bed looking at ds2 crying happy tears! I always associate GB with Ds2's birth not the Fujees..!

I was always Team Robbie myself.

I have seen him a few times live and I am not a fan (went with my mum) but his voice was beautiful. Really powerful and such a nice tone.

His alright. He was lucky to be part of a boy band that worked and he can write some very good and catchy numbers.
I'm sure he makes oddles writing for other people. He should give up the singing , but I suppose his been doing it so long now he can't seem to let it go.
I don't dislike him as much as Robbie who I used to like a lot years ago. Everyone goes stale over time I guess and they are all getting on a bit now too!

No, he’s not a great singer. He’s voice has a very tinny quality. He can play the piano and write a song with a catchy tune. Light, frothy, disposable pop.

Forever love is a nice song.
I think that he would have done a lot better as a solo artist if Robbie hadn't written Angels ( with help from the man he met in Ireland) and had the comeback he had! He stole his thunder a bit then. Plus Robbie has a big personality and GB hasn't : people are drawn to ' bad boys' a lot more than more normal people! Especially celebs.
