Is he now totally losing whatever plot he had?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-52407177

What the hell is he doing?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 24/04/2020 10:06

He is utterly stupid and incredibly dangerous.

This is the world we live in.

LakieLady · 24/04/2020 10:07

I can't decide whether he has dementia or whether he's simply utterly insane.

SeasonFinale · 24/04/2020 10:09

He's an arsehole and a dangerous one at that

Ilikewinter · 24/04/2020 10:15

I normally ignore anything to do with Trump but caught this briefing on the news this morning and nearly choked on my cereal ...... followed by me bursting into fits of laughter.

Never have i heard anything so ludicrous in my life, such a dangerous statement to be made by a so called leader...utterly bonkers.

PlanDeRaccordement · 24/04/2020 10:15

Hilarious!
That’s what happens when you elect a reality TV star to the presidency.
They pull stunts like this.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 24/04/2020 10:19

Well with Trump, Putin and BJ in charge of our destinies - how can we go wrong?

DuncinToffee · 24/04/2020 10:20

There is nothing hilarious about this, the man is extremely dangerous.

Mia1415 · 24/04/2020 10:22

You literally couldn't make it up. He is scary!

Nanny0gg · 24/04/2020 10:22

I did wonder about some form of dementia.

And you just know he's going to be re-elected Sad

justanotherneighinparadise · 24/04/2020 10:24

I feel so sorry for Americans having this man as their voice piece.

His behaviour reminds me so much of my primary school DC. Lack of concentration meaning they skim read information, picking off the bits they think are pertinent but having no comprehension of what it really means. Prone to outbursts, irrational mood swings. Fidgeting.

It’s certainly uncomfortable viewing for the whole world.

Thehop · 24/04/2020 10:28

My flabber could not be more gasted

Somanysocks · 24/04/2020 10:32

Dr Trump, hmm, and he says all of these things with a straight face.

pussycatinboots · 24/04/2020 10:34

I think he advised we stand out in the sun, or stand under a very bright light would explain why he's orange
then, i think the gist was to drink soap or maybe disinfectantShock ...not sure as I was still laughing about trying to shine a torch through my skin Hmm
He's...he's...
nope, sorry, there are no words to explain the madness gushing forth from him.

Humina · 24/04/2020 10:35

He will be re elected though. It's terrifying.

pussycatinboots · 24/04/2020 10:39

Humina
Maybe he won't...he has a pretty good excuse Global Pandemic to delay or cancel the elections...Hmm

Cocolapew · 24/04/2020 10:41

He's unbelievable Shock

midnightstar66 · 24/04/2020 10:55

I'm already seeing people trying to defend it. 'He only asked' Confused

LaurieFairyCake · 24/04/2020 11:12

They went and asked people what he would have to do wrong before they wouldn't vote for him.

Nothing, they said.

What if he walked into a McDonalds and shot someone?

Well he'd probably have a good reason.

Would you want to know that reason?

Not necessarily, he's the President. He knows what's he's doing.

ShockShockShock

SophieB100 · 24/04/2020 11:23

I just watched this on Sky, he thinks, the American people"could be injected with bleach or disinfectant, ya'know" Shock

"The medical experts were quick", according the Sky presenter who was trying to keep a straight face, "to explain the dangers of this, and discourage this option."

Yep Donald, someone sure needs injecting with something.....

Nanny0gg · 24/04/2020 12:49

@SophieB100

Danny Baker on Twitter had this suggestion:

Perhaps we might also inject Alphabet Soup into him to see if he can start forming coherent sentences.

OP posts:
OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 24/04/2020 13:33

Maybe he is doing it on purpose😱 Let's face it, there WILL be someone listening to him and trying it... Maybe it's more sinister than we think

starlightgazers · 25/04/2020 00:31

Can't believe the backtrack now that actually 'he was being sarcastic'. He so clearly wasn't. I'd say you'd have to be stupid to believe that, but then again, I suppose you'd have to be to vote for him too Confused

I'm not easily shocked, but have been watching this whole Trump (non) handling of a pandemic in horror. Where will the story of his presidency end?

SophieB100 · 25/04/2020 07:53

@Nanny0gg, I've always liked Danny Baker! Brilliant.

Pipandmum · 25/04/2020 07:58

He has absolutely no filter. He thinks it he says it. We all occasionally have a stupid idea but usually can stop ourselves from making foolish remarks, but he doesn't have this capability, and unfortunately millions are listening, and a fair portion of them will think something is a good idea.

AmelieTaylor · 25/04/2020 08:02

The back tracking is quite something.

The man is a fucking lunatic.

He's that stupid he makes Boris look clued up.

Sadly I think it's quite possible he'll get re elected 🤦🏻‍♀️
