Mine is soft fried egg and chips.

OP posts:
Lippy1234 · 24/04/2020 09:41

I like a family size bag of chocolate brownie munchies and some sparkling wine.

beguilingeyes · 24/04/2020 09:47

How long have you got...

Chocolate, crisps (Kettle salt and vinegar), a good pie, chocolate digestives (the new cherry bakewell ones are lush), Chinese food, a good curry. I love a tub of hummus with carrot sticks or breadsticks. Cheese! Most cake.

Drivingdownthe101 · 24/04/2020 09:48

Wine

Drivingdownthe101 · 24/04/2020 09:48

And Camembert

Pogopogopogo · 24/04/2020 09:49

Cheese. Cake. Cheesecake.

FamBae · 24/04/2020 09:54

Since when has egg & chips and hummus and carrot sticks been unhealthy, damn! no wonder I'm giving money every week to a very well known weight loss organisation and I thought I was overweight because of all the cake, chocolate, cheese and wine Wink

redwoodmazza · 24/04/2020 09:55

Maltesers or Walkers cheese and onion crisps. Mmmmmmm.

Neveranynamesleft · 24/04/2020 09:58

beguilingeyes I thought hummus was healthy, OP asked about unhealthy treats.
Or maybe you're not supposed to eat the whole tub .....like I do Grin

beguilingeyes · 24/04/2020 10:00

Neveranynamesleft there's quite a lot of oil in it though isn't there? The low fat one's taste meh. I like the caramelised onion variety and can scoff a whole tub no problem.

ChocolateDove · 24/04/2020 10:06

I can't pick just one, you're mean op. Grin

Pizza, chocolate, crisps, cake, this list could be long. Grin

supercee · 24/04/2020 10:12

I could literally eat pizza every day. Sigh.

Redyellowpink · 24/04/2020 10:14

I'd eat a tub of Ben and Jerry's everyday if I could

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 24/04/2020 10:16

Crisps. But they're off plan at the moment Sad Come September, I shall have some again Smile

PurpleDaisies · 24/04/2020 10:17

Crisps, crackers, fresh bread with salty butter.
It’s all about the savoury here.

BarbaraofSeville · 24/04/2020 10:18

I would define an 'unhealthy treat' as something with lots of empty calories.

Egg and chips is actually quite nutritious in comparison and won't contribute to weight gain if the portion size is appropriate for activity level and is eaten as a meal and not an extra snack. Same for hummus and carrot sticks, now that is a Mumsnet answer, cheese, and to a lesser extent pizza, providing that it's a thin base with a veg topping, which is my favourite kind anyway, rather than deep pan pepperoni loaded.

I was all set to come onto this thread to say that my favourite dinner of late is a G&T with a big bag of Aldi's fake Mackie's plain crisps. The slice of lemon counts as a portion of fruit, does it not?

ChikiTIKI · 24/04/2020 10:21

Chocolate

UpToonGirl · 24/04/2020 10:22

So many, I like to melt chocolate in a cereal bowl, add cornflakes and just eat it with a spoon...mmm. Got caught once by the kids and had to tell them I was making them some cornflake cakes!

MoonBlood · 24/04/2020 10:25

At the moment it’s croissants with thick real butter and lots of strawberry jam.

seekingwaxwings · 24/04/2020 10:27

Nice crispy fries from somewhere delivered, something cheesy, and several Fry's Chocolate Creme bars.

FrauleinF · 24/04/2020 11:21

"Hummus and carrot sticks" as an unhealthy treat 🤣

Mine include brookies and cookie cups, Tony's Chocolonely, a tub of topped Ben and Jerry's, authentic Italian pizza and arancini, some variety of Chinese takeaway with prawn toast, noodles and Kung Po in there. I could go on for hours.

I am hoping the competitive undereating brigade don't show up with their "I couldn't possibly eat a whole banana as it's pure sugar and thus evil" or "I only allow myself a cucumber every other month, they're so CARBY"...

SerenDippitty · 24/04/2020 11:23

Tunnock’s wafers.

HebeMumsnet · 24/04/2020 11:24

Wine with salty things - griddled halloumi and chorizo for preference.

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 24/04/2020 11:25

Fried bread (nobody appears to eat this delight anymore do they?) , sausages, bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms, hash browns and beans with a Bloody Mary!

Chips with melted cheese, Jalapeños, salsa

Cookie dough and ice cream

SophieB100 · 24/04/2020 11:26

Those Lindt balls, the red ones with the gooey middle. Yumsville Arizona....

Babyg1995 · 24/04/2020 11:27

Wine and jalapeno crisps .
