AIBU to ask what these dreams are all about?

So, I keep having dreams involving my old school, I reckon on a weekly basis, I left school about 25 years ago, No problems with school at the time. In these dreams, It can be stuff like having a laugh with my mates or sitting in assembly, Mostly though they are usually about bad things like cant find my way round the school, even though I know where I should be going, or it could be I have left my homework at home, or have lost it out my bag, I'm running late, but I know I am on time (if that makes sense) Most recent it is that I either cant fit in to my uniform or can't find my tie, blazer or something. What the heck is that all about???

Watching with interest. Since lockdown I've had a recurring dream - the setting is always different but the premise the same. I'm desperately trying to pack up and leave somewhere in a hurry but there's always some reason I can't. Suitcase missing, it's the wrong day, I don't know how to get wherever it is I'm going, I'm going by bus but there's no bus service. It just goes on and on.
Do dreams actually mean anything? How does anyone know?

Probably just anxiety. I always know if something’s troubling me when I have a recurring dream of having to wear a skirt but I haven’t shaved my legs!

Sometimes I have the dreams before I consciously realise that I am anxious about something.

I had another weird dream last night, this time I was driving a car badly, like I couldn't find the right gear, I was in a multi story car park, and I couldn't get out, I would either be going round and round the different levels trying to find the exit but never could, then, When i did find it it was the entrance..?? Then another scene was me driving down a round, was either wrong side of the road or wrong way down a 1 way street, I cant really remember, again driving badly and really really slowly, even though I was giving it full throttle??? I'm just weird...Right?

They sound like anxiety dreams to me. They're all dreams about loss of control, not having the right skills / equipment, accidentally breaking rules etc. School settings are a very common theme in anxiety-triggered dreams (teeth falling out and being naked or dressed wrongly are also common ones!). They'll settle down in their own time.
