Do you think Emma Freud and Richard Curtis have their main home at the seaside in a small village in Suffolk or in Notting Hill, London?

I suppose they might have both been there for a few weeks when lock down started (weeks before the Easter or summer season), being generous. I know it has been a second home for the Freuds forever but I am just a tad sceptical, in exactly the same way I am re. anybody who has quickly scarpered from the hot spots in London to their second homes in relative safety.

Is it LordFrontPaw?

I live in London but obvs not going into town just now. Last time I strayed out of my home post code was 13th March.

So who are all the tourists in the middle of town? Am very curious.

No idea - maybe people escaping worse lockdowns!

We also have people coming into the area from outside - you can tell when they are ooing and ahing over the sites in the park, asking directions and asking if there are any local coffee shops open. Also the usual families from the ME (staying in their London homes for the season, so not technically tourists).

We have short rent flats in a block opposite (a bit like air b&b) and it is full. I still see people wandering around with suitcases peering at their phones, there’s even - few flats our block that do short term and air b&bs rents - they come for a few weeks and party - they flats are occupied.
