I lose track of days and times a lot and sleep a lot during this lockdown , is this ok , normal ? Or is this weird / wrong.

I don’t know the answer to your question but I’m the same.

If you have nothing else thats being negatively impacted and your mood is positive thats fine.

In your title you say you have low mood. Some people when depressed sleep a lot.

Do you feel better or worse for all the sleep?

With boredom, find a project. If yoi cant find any joy or motivation in anything again it might indicate mental health issue.

I read an interesting article form a Psychologist that said that living in a pandemic is a trauma. And people react differently to trauma. I see a lot of posts with people doing great things like crafting, doing incredible exercise, learning a new skill or language. And that’s great for them, but there is no right or wrong way to handle this massive life changing event. My advice would be to be gentle on yourself. I’m also struggling to keep motivated, despite still working and attempting to home school two very resistant children. My house is a mess, I still have boxes to unpack, and I have actual time to take care of these things but I just can’t be arsed. I think it is easy to slip into a depression, and I’m wary about that as I’ve had episodes before. Try and make yourself get to sleep at a reasonable time (I’m aware I’m posting at 1am!), eat as healthily as you can, get some sunlight and make sure to keep in touch with people. If you can bring yourself to exercise, that would also help your mood. I’ve started a free 30 day yoga workout on YouTube. It’s an effort to make myself do it, but I’m always glad when I have.

It sounds normal during lockdown. Try and make yourself a routine.

I started off ok. Kept busy, spirits up but now I'm low, moody. If it wasn't for my 3 children I would try and sleep all day

I slept a lot during the first weeks of lockdown but soon realised that was simply having the chance to sleep of the tiredness and stress of my job.
Maybe yours is the same? How can sleeping be wrong? Your body must need it.

A routine, setting the alarm, doing something useful like spring cleaning or gardening and taking exercise every day, will help you feel like you’ve achieved something.
