Or not. I put off going for a haircut for about 2 months before lockdown.

Sing with me It's been 5 months and thirteen days. Since you last cut my hair.

I combed my hair out in front of the laptop while on the phone earlier and I look like Kate Middleton (no word of a lie). Reflection in laptop screen gone blank.

All that said, my hair is falling asunder. AIBU to ask when the blooming hairdressers will reopen?

Seriously, my hair is a mess, no matter how much I dream of having Kate's luscious locks!!!

My hair is in better condition than it had been for a while - probably because I’m not washing it every day and I often don’t even bother to wash it after going for an evening run and perhaps the salt in my sweat is good for it.

My side fringe, however, is another matter. Unless I clip it back I look like one of those wild ponies with overgrown forelocks who wander the moors and highlands. I’m starting a new job in a month and if the hairdressers are still closed I’m going to have to give DP a go on the scissors just to look presentable.

I have long straight hair, I asked my dh to trim the ends (only a microscopic but off the ends) as it was getting really ratty. It ended up being all wonky so had to cut off about 2 inches in total. It's in the best condition it's been for ages, and I love the blunt, straight ends. Go dh Grin

I look nothing like Kate Middleton. Long locks aside. Just to get that straight!
My local hairdresser did a clip on how to cut your child's fringe and it's actually very technical. You sort of snip at it lol.

I'm going mental though. I feel like I've too much hair.

Not sure if this works?

I don't have a fringe. I've a mane. I am neighing at the previous poster who has blonde furlocks (don't tell anyone, but that's what I thought furloughing was).
