Last seen friday/Saturday. Small bridge with one front tooth and 2 side teeth. Have turned the house upside down and he's rooted through 2 bin bags... So where are they or... Who has them????

Yes, ask St Anthony. I am completely non-woo but for some reason, this never fails.

Rubychard · 21/04/2020 01:00

My dad managed to lose his down the bog. God knows how.

Sparklypurpleunicornsaremyfav · 21/04/2020 07:55

OK, so yes he does have teeth in his mouth, just not the missing ones. We have turned the house upside down and he's checked his car, although why the would be there god knows 🙄 he has to take them out to eat as they snapped a while back and we don't have the £800-1000 to replace them so if everyone could keep an eye out, it would be greatly appreciated as he refuses to leave the house without them. Obviously this isn't a problem at the moment but it will be when he goes to work 😥 I will be offering my prayers up, I really need to find them dam teeth coz he's annoying is all now

Oh no hope he finds them!

OneMoreLight · 21/04/2020 08:21

When you find them, if it's a clean break contact a local dental lab they should be able to repair them.

stairgates · 21/04/2020 08:24

My DH lost his last summer, they turned up about a month ago!! They had fallen out of his pocket when he took out the recycling and had stuck themselves underneath the wheelie bin out the front, the glue finally gave up after 6 months+ and revealed their hiding place Grin See if they have become stuck to something:)

JasonPollack · 21/04/2020 08:27

When we lost some in our house they turned up wrapped up in a sleeping bag under the bed.

ThomasHardyPerennial · 21/04/2020 08:28

Flushed down the loo by mistake.

lidoshuffle · 21/04/2020 08:33

I agree on a prayer to St Anthony - he doesn't seem to mind if we are believers or not, lol!

sadforthekoalas · 21/04/2020 08:34

In a pocket?

Sparklypurpleunicornsaremyfav · 21/04/2020 08:36

The bed has been pulled this way and that way, backwards and forwards, drawers emptied bins rummaged through, the kids even joked he must have swallowed them which sent him into a blind panic... I did point out that I think he would have noticed if that had happened 🙄 down the toilet is a possibility, not sure how but at this point anything is possible... He's even checked the shed!! 😂 😂

My mother lost hers once. I found them underneath the dining room table with the dog. Well, I found bits of them Shock.

dingit · 21/04/2020 08:51

I would gather your dc until they tell the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth

Squirrelfan · 21/04/2020 08:53

Dishwasher?

BamboozledandBefuddled · 21/04/2020 08:55

They're over there. On the what-not, behind the doo-dah and tucked slightly under the wotchamacallit Grin

In all seriousness (and based on experience), has he checked in his pockets)?

Meirou90 · 21/04/2020 09:05

@ Guttersnipe

Hang on, why did you strip naked at the opticians? Or have I missed something? Shock

Fluffybutter · 21/04/2020 09:19

Random ..but bottom of the dishwasher if you have one ?
If he keeps them in a cup/glass then it could be possible they’ve been upended in to the dishwasher without realising . A relative has done this twice !

Elephantonascooter · 21/04/2020 09:26

If the kids are young, check inside any toys. My DS once hid DH's wallet in the arse of a caterpillar. Didn't find it until after the new driving license and cards had arrived. Try explaining that to the dvla when we returned the 'lost' one

Zomblie · 21/04/2020 09:31

In a toiletries bag? In the washing basket if you keep one in the bathroom? In the fridge?

(Once in a slightly sleepy state I "lost" a whole lettuce, turns out I'd gotten confused whilst making sandwiches and had put the clingfilm in the fridge and the lettuce in the drawer)

Under the sofa if he's taken then out for an evening snack and knocked them off the coffee table? Ditto bedside table for toast in bed?

hellsbellsmelons · 21/04/2020 09:38

Oh no - I've no idea but I need to placemark in the hope we have update that you found them and where the hell they were!

diddl · 21/04/2020 09:45

Does he have a pile of books by the bed that they've fallen into?

Shamoo · 21/04/2020 09:46

Happened to my mum years ago. She was sure it was my dad playing a joke. Turned up months later in a mouse nest under the floorboards when some work was being done to the house 😂😂😂

GinDrinker00 · 21/04/2020 09:48

😂 this happened to a family member of mine, turned out the dog stole them and buried them in their garden.

RingtheBells · 21/04/2020 09:48

If he takes them out to eat, has he popped them in a tissue somewhere and it has got thrown away, have you checked in all the bins.

FamilyMatter2020 · 21/04/2020 09:56

I would gather your dc until they tell the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth
