Posters Who Don't Read Thread First!

Why don't some posters read the thread before posting? I have just scrolled through pages of repetitive posts suggesting a course of action which the Op had already tried. At least read the last page before posting and don't just jump in with a gut reaction to the original post. I am sure some Ops must lose the will to live!

I might have been guilty of this.

I do read the thread. But sometimes if it goes on for pages I can't remember the details by the time I get to the bottom and I can't be bothered to go back and look.

I've accidentally done this thanks to the app as it doesn't always load all the posts. I do always try to read at least all the updates from the OP but it's also easy to miss a post if they've namechanged.

Other than that, no excuses.

If a thread is too long, no. I will scroll and look for green posts but the rest? No. It's ridiculous to expect that. 🙄

If a thread is already too long/not sufficiently interesting to RTFT when I first see it, then usually I won't bother with it.
