How much did you lose and how long did it take ?
I need to lose about 2.5 stone and I just can't get motivated and can't see that I'll ever be small again.

I've lost about 10 pounds since 2nd Jan, gone from 9st11 to 9st/9st2. I haven't used any particular method other than generally eating less. I have been on loads of diets in the past and have lost quite a bit of weight and regained it all, really don't want to go down that route again. I've done LCHF in the past but for me it isn't sustainable, also tried fasting. I struggle with no snacking as I get really hangry, so I have to factor that it. To be honest have been struggling more during lockdown cause I find it hard to keep my steps up and have just wanted chocolate. I could exercise from home but I am working from home and home schooling, as well as getting ready for a house move post lockdown so don't have a huge amount of time. Ideally I would like to get down to 8st7, haven't weighed that for a few years, but not sure if that's sustainable, I'm 5ft5 (small build) and 45, big aim is to get in the 8s by the end of April.

I lost nearly 5 stone in 6 months going from just over 16 stone to about 11.5 st but that was courtesy of undiagnosed Addisons disease and also resulted in a very near death experience so not to be recommended . I put on a bit of weight at the start of this current crisis as I’m not going out at all except the garden but I’ve lost 4 lbs in the last 7-10 days by having a piece of fruit instead of lunch and not snacking

I lost about 3 stone in six months from calorie counting, portion control and more sensible choices. You can do it and you'll be so glad you did.

I lost 8 stone last year by giving up booze, and eating a clean diet with no processed, fatty, carby foods.
Quite high protein to keep me full but defo not Keto as porridge every day and Jacket potato most nights.
Kept referring to the NHS 'calculate your BMI' page to get a steer on optimum amount of calories. Los steadily at 2lbs a week ish.
This year have lost a further stone much more slowly as it is increasingly harder to shave away the calories. Currently 1500 per day
at 5ft11 and 11st 5 is meaning a loss of 1/2 - 1lb per week. Nine pounds to go to goal weight!
Am now trying to incorporate some fasting (not eating between 7pm and 11 am which is 16/8 I guess. Seems to be speeding things along a bit.
Did it with no exercise at all. (Lazy bitch) Good Luck!

I eat one meal a day, give myself an hour eating window, usually about half 3ish. I love it.

I've lost 2.5 stone since January doing Weight Watchers online. I've logged all my food and increased my fruit and veg intake hugely. It's been fine but I am struggling in lockdown because I'm bored and want to eat crap but I'm determined to keep losing- I am not coming out of this having put weight on! I really need to lose another two stone.

I lost over 4 stone, took me a couple of years.
I just did the 'eat less, move more' thing, trying to eat reasonably healthy and doing lots of walking and swimming. I've stayed the same weight (give or take a few pounds) for over a year now.

I've lost 10lb on lockdown.

Down from 9st 1lb to 8st 5lb. (I'm 4 foot 11).

Have the time to exercise properly and cook low fat recipes.

Most I've ever lost in my life is 4 stone after pregnancy (realistically had 2.5 stones to lose other than baby weight). I literally lived on air. Starved myself. Was not in a good place at that time and would never recommend it.

I've lost 3st 4lb in 5 years. It wasn't quite linear, but the trend has been generally down. I finally discovered in my middle age that the way for me to lose weight and keep it off is to slowly and permanently amend bad habits. These days I eat pretty much a Mediterranean diet.
