Anyone a librarian?
If so, what are you doing whilst working from home?
AIBU to think not much that can be done?
Have you been given a different job to do within your organisation?

Lots to be done... There are thousands of online resources to buy and manage, online teaching of various things, website management, enquries to answer, accounts to administer, etc

Family member - still in the library on shortened days. No public access to books but biometrics (visa applications) still have to be available as does internet access for essentials. So you can come in a do your UC claim, but browsing Facebook and trying to get round the filters to access porn aren't.

Plus in public libraries, there's been a lot of engagement and events via social media, like rhyme time, stories, arts & crafts etc.

Working in a closed library building/space also allows for stuff to get done like stocktakes, weeding, reorganisation etc.

There's so much behind-the-scenes work in all library sectors (largely done on computers) that nobody realises goes on. Sorry for so many posts but this is something I could ramble on about quite happily Grin

Library Assistant here, our staff waiting to be redeployed or furloughed again. Personally I'm also a Trade Union Health & Safety Officer who does most of my hours on that. So working from home advising members and talking to senior managers
