To wonder if hospital admissions are going down

My ds has mental health problems and has a number of friends with mental health problems. None of them have ended up in the emergency department when perviously many were in regular. Are people with mental health problems not getting treatment for things? And dealing with them at home.

Apparantly less people are going to hospital for all sorts of things.

Do any of them actually need to go and wont?

I don’t know that’s what I’m doing wondering. I know my son doesn’t need to go but I’m worried that others might not be going when they need medical treatment.

Everyome knows that a lot fewer people are going to A & E, lowest numbers for year. I don't know if there are statistics on what kinds of issues people are still going for.

You are right it's a huge concern.

People are still dying without covid being involved. Lots of people will still need the NHS as they did before.

My dp has missed 2 regular scans that are to monitor a potentially lethal health issue.

People are not getting the medical help they need or reluctant to go in for it.

It's very worrying.
