That’s fucking unbelievable in the circumstances. I mean even in normal times why the hell wouldn’t you buy an electronic kit if you’re serious about drumming and need to practise at home.
But it sounds, given the kids are only 6 and 8, that she’s just bought them to keep them occupied and couldn’t give a shit about who else has to listen to their racket.

Buying bongos - fine

Buying bongos and letting the kids make a racket from the early hours - totally unreasonable and a shootable offence.

Can you request a drumming hour daily? Not to be used outside that time, and you have 50% say in when it happens. Must be pre-agreed.
Surely the parent will get pissed off with it?
