To ask for your comfy bra suggestions

Shamelessly looking for traffic.

Since having my daughter 2 years ago I’ve really gone off underwired bras. I really don’t need the extra support (just about filling a b cup) and they just aren’t comfy. What I do appreciate from them is a bit of padding and that they often look really nice.

I keep reaching for my super comfy maternity bras that don’t fit and don’t give me any shape. Or none at all because lock down. But presumably this is going to end at some point...

Has anyone got any suggestions for great non wired bras with a bit of shape added that aren’t ugly and have thin straps so can be worn with vests etc? Reasonably priced would be great. I normally love m and a but was really disappointed by their breast feeding bras.

@ssd if you look at their website there is a key. There's a "Fans of Molke" Facebook group too that give excellent advice.

I wear M & S Total Support, 38DD - good range of colours. They are so comfortable.

Sloggi zero feel. Wide-ish straps but so comfy that you literally can't feel them on your body at all- lightly padded moulded cup which gives natural shape. No wire. They are heaven to wear.

Can't imagine the Sloggi Zero Feel would be good for breastfeeding, but I'm sure they must make the equivalent without padding, which would be easier to slip up/off to feed.

They're not beautiful but so so lovely to wear. Around £30.

Lepel London do a lace cup racer back bralette thats so comfy! I swear by figleaves Millie bras too

skybluee · 20/04/2020 12:43

I've stopped wearing them. I've simply come to the conclusion they're all uncomfy, and after spending quite a lot on so-called good expensive ones and having to send both of them back, I've had enough. They just do not fit my shape at all. I even went for a fitting at M&S and the woman in there was really weird with me and said they would have nothing at all that would fit my shape, and it made me feel like complete shit and like a freak so I gave up.

@ThenSheSaidMore, thanks. I'm not on Facebook so I think I'll just phone them up when they open up again.

Just bumping to say that Molke are trading again but have limited stock.

I'm not connected with the company in any way but have been keeping a watching brief on their website because I really need something comfy myself!

I know this is an old thread but TU at Sainsburys have a large non wired range now. I've ordered a few to try

Coughsyrupsucks · 26/05/2020 18:53

I have huge boobs and underwire just hurts now, so I cut the underwire out of my bras - little notch out of the armpit bit and feed through. They fit the same, just comfortable.
