I’m guessing you can, but how? I thought it may be under the apps section but can’t see a way to search for them. Can anyone help?

Do you have a laptop?
Do you have a separate webcam (ie not just the one on your laptop but one you can plug in)?

It’s unlikely to be available as an app for a TV as it needs a camera (and most TVs don’t have this)

But on some TVs it may be possible to “stream” or “cast” the app from your phone/laptop/tablet to be displayed on the TV. You’d still need to use the phone/laptop/ tablet as the camera but you’d see the display on your TV screen.

The most common methods of doing this are either using a set top box like Chromecast or Apple TV, or using a TV which supports direct streaming from another device.

Ooh that’s sounds complicated. We are considering paying for a movement class that is online via zoom but have only for it in my phone so won’t be very easy for her to follow. I have a pc but only the webcam it came with. Assume that’s a no go too? I don’t want to fork out for it for her not to be able to access it properly.

We ‘project’ our laptop screen onto our Roku and have a usb webcam balanced on top which is also plugged into the laptop. works well for us!

The Pc would be fine. You can also get phone to HDMI cables

We connect our laptop to the TV with a HDMI cable, works well

I do online pilates classes on zoom. They won't cast to the TV, so I just use my laptop. It works very well.

If you're just watching the videos (as opposed to wanting to do a video call where the other people can see you too) then it would be fine to do it on the tv.
Two options: connect laptop to tv via hdmi cable, or link up smartphone/tablet to one of the smart tv type things (Apple TV , chrome cast, Roku etc)
