Or shoud I just leave it be?

I ordered some bamboo from Primrose to make a hedge round the shepherds hut I bought just before this all started. It is to be a holiday let to give us an income.

I paid by paypal but didnt get an order confirmation. I checked and the money had been taken. I emailed them, waited a week, then emailed again. 5 days later, still nothing.

So I'm £168 down and have no income at the moment so could do with the money. I will have to buy the bamboo from somewhere else as I need the hedge for safety reasons when we are allowed to rent it out. We will really need to hit the ground running!

I've already lost £400 from when flybe went bust, as well as my entire income. Perhaps this is clouding my judgement. I know they must be very busy, but they are still processing orders.

I was going to order some seeds from them as they seemed to be the cheapest but did a quick review search and there are a LOT of bad reviews. I think they have been inundated with orders and can't fulfill them. I think someone had success emailing them, but look the reviews up and see there. I hope you get your money back. Did you buy via a credit card as you should be able to get your money back through that.

They say on their website there is currently 2-4 weeks delay on orders

If you can't get any answer from them then you could try reclaiming the money through PayPal

Beautiful3 · 17/04/2020 19:35

That's the drawback to PayPal, its automatically taken. Better to pay by credit card so they dont take it until dispatch.

They are dreadful.

Do not touch with a barge pole.

And that's nothing to do with the lockdown either.
