I ordered boots from Office on 23rd March with next day delivery as it was a birthday gift for dd1. It didn't arrive, so on 25th I asked for a refund so I could order from somewhere else as they were being of no help at all.
8th April and no refund so I contacted them again. Full of apologies, it wasn’t put through, we’ll do it now etc. etc. Today I log into my account to find that they still haven’t processed it and the order is still showing as shipped. Customer services are saying the courier hasn’t returned the parcel so I now have to wait another 10 working days to get my money back so they can investigate.
I’ve tried telling them that their issue with the courier is not my problem and as they’ve had confirmation that I don’t have the boots and never have had the bloody boots that they should refund me now but they’re refusing. Also won’t escalate to a manager.
I’m nearly a month without a refund now. Luckily on furlough and not lost my job yet, but still over £170 pounds out of pocket though. AIBU that this is really crap?
