no

EmpressMcSchnozzle · 17/04/2020 17:23

Not unless you're doing lots of nice breathing, meditation, mudras, and other yoga exercises with it, no. There are lots of different types of yoga though - Vini, Iyengar (the one most people start with and one that involves lots of stretching), Bikram, "Hot"....

Well no, because yoga has specific movements and poses. So if you aren't doing yoga, .... you're not doing yoga!

OneandTwenty · 17/04/2020 17:28

No

Also, you should really only stretch when you are properly warmed up.

yoga is a whole life practice and philosophy
if you want a low commitment/easy on the spiritual side intro try yoga with Adrienne
stretching is just stretching

Yes. Basically. For me anyway. I spent many years thinking I had to get the move just right and worrying about that more than the moment. Then I had an epiphany. If it feels good and you focus on the move, the moment, your breathing, you actually get much more out of it.
