  1. two cans of red bull is not food shopping

  2. pjs and dressing gown , it's lunchtime.

I expect someone will say she was probably a front line worker coming off a night shift, but I'm saying it how I saw it babes. Grin And to give context I had been standing outside the post office for nearly half an hour , hadn't worn my coat , and it was freezing.

In the nicest possible way, not your business.

Babes.

TwoZeroTwoZero · 17/04/2020 13:16

You're allowed to go to the shop for whatever you deem essential. There are no rules against wearing PJs out of the house either.

practicallyperfectwithprosecco · 17/04/2020 13:28

While they might not be pjs im in jogging bottoms t shirt hoody and no bra as wfh today. I have just done my walk of 5 mins today to buy bread and milk from the corner shop ( essential as 3 kids have been told toast or cereal if they are hungry) and chocolate (very essential as without it I would probably kill aforementioned bickering kids) I'm sure some people might be very judgy about way I'm dressed but I really needed 5 minutes peace - pj lady might be the same.

iklboo · 17/04/2020 13:38

Here, have a hoiky bosom bra to go with your judgy pants 👙Grin

Get a life.

Daisyhut · 17/04/2020 14:04

It is really disgusting to walk around in public in your PJs. Shows a lack of respect for yourself and others.

ilovesooty · 17/04/2020 14:07

I really don't see how people can be bothered by what people wear let alone make judgement about respect.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 17/04/2020 14:10

pj lady might be the same

No, - you have thrown on some slounging clothes , PJ Woman is in her PJs and Robe .

Ugh. .

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 17/04/2020 14:13

I reckon Judge Judy could make a charge of "Indecency and Offence to Mine Eyes ". stick Wink

Last summer I was at the Wednesday boot sale at 9 am I was selling a lady comes up dressed in pyjamas with 5 kids aged between 2 and 8 she was mid twenties.
They were all in pyjamas every one of them !
Sorry I was judging very much she was in pyjamas her kids were in pyjamas it was a school day and her eldest daughters name was Sugar 😳
Is any of this acceptable ? I think not

sqirrelfriends · 17/04/2020 14:33

I like being a judgy pants, some people are grim and IMO if you go out in PJs most who see you are going to judge.

iklboo · 17/04/2020 14:34

it was a school day and her eldest daughters name was Sugar

It could have been a pet name. DS rarely gets called his given name. Still none of your business if not. You - we - don't get to decide what's 'acceptable'.

PersonaNonGarter · 17/04/2020 14:35

Was she shopping with hubby? At least it wasn’t at 8pm on a Thursday cuz that’s when she should of been clapping.

BadBear · 17/04/2020 14:52

For me the deciding factor as to whether this is acceptable is whether she was wearing underwear under her pyjamas?

I come from a different country and I only found out a couple of years ago that many British people think it's OK to not wear underwear (referring to knickers not bras) under their pyjamas. It literally shook my world. It's one of my first thoughts when I meet someone new now... I wonder if they are the type that wears pants under their pyjamas or not? Hmm Grin

acacac · 17/04/2020 14:59

I didn’t shower until 13:00 today - go ahead judge away. Absolutely none of your business nosy cow.

artistformerlyknownas · 17/04/2020 15:12

Maybe she always wears PJs during the day, and goes to bed in a full suit.

Thisismytimetoshine · 17/04/2020 15:19

Since when are we only allowed to have an opinion on something we see happening if it can be proven to be our business?

And if I hear that trite "be kind" shite trotted out again I'll scream. You be kind enough to fucking stop it.
