DP can't win - anyone else

I've made a massive effort with my hair and makeup today for a change. DP noticed and has told me I look lovely. So at first I was happy now I just think I must look crap the rest of the time. Does anyone else think like this?

Yes but I bite my tongue now, despite my first instinct being to rebuff his compliments. I've slowly started to realise that if he tells me I look pretty, it's because he thinks I do. Even if I don't feel attractive in any way, shape or form.
