Fasting diet!

Does fasting diet actually work? If it's worked for you, what did you eat ?

I did this a while back, 500 cals on 2 days and normal eating on 5 days. It worked as a kind of weight maintenance plan rather than a loss plan. I think to lose weight you would have to calorie count on the other 5 days too, but obviously not as low as 500.

I generally ate stir fries, omelettes, or soup on fasting days. No meat, no carbs. It reassesses your attitude towards food as you just stop wanting calorie dense foods as they're not worth using up your precious calories for, you want more filling things instead!
